Day 2 - 7 Days to Sacred Mornings

Today we looked at the difference between operating from ego and our truest self and how that can impact our energy, joy and the impact we have on others. As well as how to tap into the immense power of our higher state of being.

Now just to reiterate there is nothing wrong with ego. It has kept you alive! BUT if it starts running you, rather than you running it - life can feel like a battle!

A few tips here to help you identify where you are operating from;

EGO:

- obsessed with the "I" - what "I" have experienced, what "I" have, what "I" need in return

- black and white, fear based and heirarchy  thinking "I'm bad at this..." , "I'm good at that...", "That's wrong..", "That person is better"..."I'm good, their not..."

- "what's in it for me?" thinking

- Judgemental of self and others or perfectionist thinking or putting others on pedelstals

- identifying thoughts and emotions as sel

- refrains from/minimises action due to fear of judgemen and not being "perfect"

TRUE SELF

- can see the bigger picture and can put mistakes, so called "failures", others "faults", potential "risks" into perspective

- Operates with curosity - no fear of failure, likes to "have a go", "whats the worst that can happen" mentality but with honesty

-" What can I give...how can I be of service...or help" not because you want something in return (like validation -  told you are a good/kind person, money, receive the same care and consideration back)  but because you recognise you already have so much just by being here in this existence, time and space

- Curious and compassionate  to self and others, " I wonder why I did that?", "Was that about my behaviour or their past hurt?", "what does this show me about where I still have room to grow?" baring in mind I am constantly learning and growing and perfect is an illusion

- Thoughts and emotions are just an internal weather system; some days they are turbulent and stormy, some days they are calm and quiet, some days it is warm sunshine - but they are not you, and they pass and don't distract you from what really matters.
